Aquantia AQLoud PHYs are 28 nm, high-performance, low-power 10GBase-T transceivers. The AQ2402 is a small-footprint, 4-port solution used in inter-rack connectivity. Housed in a 25 mm x 25 mm BGA package, the AQ2402 is backward compatible with the AQ1402 40nm 45 mm x 45 mm quad transceiver, allowing customers to migrate existing designs to lower-power 28 nm versions.

Aquantia AQLOUD PHYs are compliant with the IEEE 802.3an standard and perform all the physical-layer functions required to implement 10GBASE-T, 1000BASE-T, and 100BASE-TX transmission over 100 m of twisted-pair cabling.

The architecture offers mixed signal radio frequency cancellation techniques and integrated MDI filtering to ensure robustness in data center environments.
