Aquantia recently took part in HP’s only worldwide training event for Workstations, Thin Clients, and Immersive Computing. The HP ‘Rock On’ event took place December 11-14 in Denver, Colorado. The four-day event included product showcases, breakout training sessions, main stage presentations and an exhibition hall where vendors could demonstrate their HP add-on products.
With over 800 world-wide attendees from HP sales, marketing, R&D and key channel partners, Aquantia had a lot to share demonstrating their 5G Ethernet adapter. Attendees who stopped by the Aquantia booth got to experience first-hand 5G versus 1G performance, with a 10G file transfer for 5G taking around 17 seconds and 1G around 90 seconds. They also had the opportunity to learn about Aquantia’s leadership position in 5G performance on existing Cat5e cabling.
Sean Michhaud, Aquantia Sales Director, explained, “The attendees of this event were excited to use Aquantia 5G Multi-Gigabit Ethernet adapters, to quickly and easily improve the overall performance and experience of HP workstations running modern workflows including architecture, finance, media creation and virtual reality applications.”
